Distributing application launchers/menus...

Hi....

I would like to be able to create application launchers and menus on a 
central server and distribute them to multiple clients (perhaps via login 
script when the user logs in)....

Can this be done in gnome? (I am using redhat 7.3 with gnome 1.4 (I 
think))....

If so, how?
