Problems with Ximian Installation

Hello there:

i'm having some troubles with a failled ximian installation ... I was 
installing mono when "somebody" turn off mi pc ... after that, I started 
a gnome session, but there's no panel ... what should I do? where are the 
pakcages and the script? I used the internet-method ( I downloaded a xml 
installer and it did everything ... so I don't know if the packages stay 
in the system ...)
