Old window list behavior?

I realize this sort of thing must get really old.. but is there a way to 
get the gnome 2 window list applet to show only the windows on a particular
desktop, plus any minimized windows on any other desktops?  This was possible
in gnome 1.4, but seems to at least not be an option in the gui config for
the new window list.
