note to develop gnome2 applet?

I have a project initialized. http://gramophone.sf.net/
this will be port of my old gnome1 applet.

but I cannot find any resources to develop gnome2 applet.
my initial code does not stick to panel even,
immediately quit after execution.

I tried to command ./exe_file --oaf-activate-iid=proper_string
and got some lines of output.
I have no data what this result mean.

somebody pliz analyse my initial tarball.
I believe you can build the tarball.
I've made standard gnu build system by struggle to learn autotools. :)
