Why are the bits of the menu panle not just applets, like the menus and
the finder thing?  If there were separate then we could have the finder
with out the menus and vice versa...

Or have the them on a panel thans not hard coded to be at teh top etc...

Not that it's really a big deal, but it's telling people they must do
something this way and this way only..
