Toralf,

I'm not sure I understand what you are seeing. Could you explain what you see
when you select Pan from your menu in a bit more detail? The first time you run
Pan you should be prompted to setup the application. You may also want to check
the version of Pan you are using (for rpm based distro's rpm -qa|grep -i pan
will work).

Feel free to join the Pan mailing list as well. You can find info at the Pan
homepage - pan.rebelbase.com. The developers are very active on the list and
should be able to help out if I can't.
