Gnumeric is in 0.67 now, IIRC. So you should try a newer version.

Related to what you did but to the GNOME developers: When will users
be able to copy and paste interface texts? There is no need of photos
if that feature is avaliable, so people could report error faster,
docs writers will be able to paste menu paths by just selecting and a
lot of other tasks. People can copy ans paste errors from terminals
quite easy, but with graphics, only photo or hand copy.
