Matt,

Is your internal USR modem a hardware controlled modem or a Winmodem? If
it
is a hardware controlled modem check the modem HOWTO in
/usr/doc/Linus-HOWTOs. If it is a software controlled Winmodem you will
need
to visit the www.linmodems.org site to get some more info and help.
