Ya, buy another sound card.  SoundBlaster 16 PCI works great!  Runs around
$30 retail.  sndconfig picks it up as the Ensonique 1371.  Just use that
driver and ur in business.  One problem tho, aRTs will crash in KDE on start
every once in a while.  Gnome never seems to tho.  If it's a big problem
just disable sound in KDE.
