Fw: Aureal Vortex 8810 sound card.

Okay.

 I should probably post this at sourceforge.net and probably will.  But
might as well post it here as long as I'm around.

 I've finally managed to get the aureal driver compiled and installed
correctly on my system... but it doesn't work, no sound.

 Anybody else experience this problem?  Any solutions?
