Balsa: Unable to load the "aspell" module

When trying to start the spellchecker in Balsa's compose window, I get the
error message

	Unable to load the "aspell" module

pspell/aspell setup looks good to me, however; I have the following
packages:

	% rpm -qa | grep "[ap]spell"
	aspell-en-gb-0.32.6-2
	aspell-sv-0.2-1
	aspell-0.32.6-2
	pspell-0.11.2-2
	aspell-no-0.2-1
	pspell-devel-0.11.2-2

and 'aspell check' from the command line works just fine. Ideas, anyone? 
I'm using a version of balsa based on yesterday's CVS sources.
