I agree that they are cool, but I am pretty sure some of these are from
Gauntlet - I don't know how free that makes them.

I have some comments on the actual sounds (too long timewise, not
"mainstream" enough) but I suspect just having the sounds out there is an
amazing first step ahead of the present set, and I think the collective
efforts of interested people can come up with a gnome-audio for the next
big GNOME release.
