1. I think your points are valid
2. To some extent email/addressing/calendar often interact with the same
entities
	e.g.	email a person
		send something to them
		schedule something with them
	While this make monolithism an easy choice, I agree little program with
appropriate
	hooks to each other (or an alternate tool) is more elegant
