Removed Panel by accident

I removed the panel by accident. How do I get it back
?
When it was removed, it said that it was removing some
applet as well.
I went through the email archives and found that these
suggestions were given.
  - remove .gnome
  - clean /tmp
  - reinstall applets 
    I reinstalled control-center, gnome-core and
gnome-applets.

Still I cannot get back the panel.

Any help is greatly appreciated.
