I'm having trouble getting gdm to allow xdmcp connections, and I think
my gdm.conf file is set up correctly, but it still doesn't allow a
connection.
The relevant (I think!) settings are:
[xdmcp]
Enable=1
HonorIndirect=1
Before yesterday, both of these were set to 0, so I went in and changed
them to 1. Is that all I need to do? Or do I need to restart gdm? I
looked in the archives and didn't see whether gdm reads the
configuration everytime someone tries to use xdmcp, or if it just reads
it once when it starts up.
Here's the gdm related processes that are running
]$ ps aux | grep gdm
root 590 0.0 0.9 2780 1224 ? S Oct16 0:08
/usr/bin/gdm -nod
root 598 0.0 0.9 2628 1160 ? S Oct16 0:00
/usr/bin/gdm -nod
gdm 603 0.0 2.6 6244 3432 ? S Oct16 0:00
/usr/bin/gdmlogin
If I do need to restart them, what is the syntax, and which one (or
more) of the three processes do I need to kill and restart?

PS: I'm running gdm-2.0beta4-0_helix_6.rpm
