Re: strange startup directory



Thanks!  I finally got a reply, and it worked too!.  (I'm alluding to my message about a month ago mentioning this and a couple of other problems I've had with RH7 that I didn't have with RH6.1).

A note for others:	make sure you edit the file *after* you log out
(ex on a system with runlevel 5 (like mine) : log out, then press Alt-Ctrl-F1 , then use vim to edit the file (my favorite editor ;-)))
