[Perl] Module to write applet

Hi,

Did anyone already developed applet for the Gnome panel in Perl ? I am
trying to see how I could do that and I found a libgnome-perl package
but it doesn't look like it works for applet panel. 

Any url around about that ? (an example would be great). Thanks !
