Hi,

We have a mostly-complete "gsu" in the gnome-utils package in CVS, and 
someone just sent a patch to gnome-devel-list which is supposed to
make it work - I have it in my queue to look at this patch, but I
haven't yet.

If you want to look in to making sure gsu really works and maybe check
out this patch, it would be great - be sure to check out the
gnome-devel-list archives, the relevant post has 'gsu' in the subject.
