It is a widget that:
1. Integrates with the environment, and is resposive to the
user choices and can reconfigure to adapt to these changes
(the recent GConf dependency).
2. Uses high-level imaging features (libart, GdkPixbuf).
3. Provides a tool for end users to configure it (Capplet).
4. It is an easy to reuse widget, as it is also packaged as a
Bonobo control that can be embedded in applications and
used to design GUIs with Glade (Bonobo).
5. Supports printing its output (by using gnome-print).
Cheers,
Miguel.
