Browsing technology for Gnome? Mozilla?

Hi,

One of the core productivity applications these days has
got to be a web browser.

Since Gnome's programming interfaces and standardized UI theming
are powerful ways to create a very consistent user experience,
it would seem to me that Gnome users could benefit greatly from
a Gnome-aware web browser.

To this end, is there a group of Gnome developers who are working
with the Mozilla folks to make Mozilla capable of functioning in
a tightly-coupled manner with Gnome?

One interesting possibility might be exposing Mozilla functionality
to Gnome development, where Gnome programs could embed some of the
various browser functionality.

Thanks,
	Miles
