GNOME status

Hi, 


	I  was wondering, is the gnome on the CVS the same the current 
posible dist update? (I use debian  gnome-libs 1.0.54).

I want to install bonobo, and the new panel, and if there is a beta, 
gfm. I want to use the stuff from gnome 2.0     Do I have to use gnome 
from CVS, or can I use the 1.0.54?
