Gnome through Exceed

Hi!

I'm not that familiar with Gnome but I have this user (the big boss
actually), who would like to have sort of a gnome desktop while
accessing linux thru Exceed.  I assume that he can call gnome-terminal
instead of xterm but is there anything more that he can do?
