Why do not ask to the gnu libc guy if they already
thought implementing async gethostbyname() ?
And if not, if it is a problem to implement it.

So it was done in a LGPL program,
no need to talk more about adns.
And is it very usefull for Gnet, which is, as i understand a
gnome related library, to duplicate the work ?

It is well known that M$ products don't call free() after a malloc().
