Installation of "quickres_applet-1.0.1"

Hi everybody,

Fail to install "quickres_applet-1.0.1" (Redhat 6.0)

Use either "make" or "make install" command, following error message
indicated

/bin/sh: gnome-config: command not found
/bin/sh: gcc: command not found
make: *** [quickres_applet] Error 127

**********************

Can't locate file "gnome-config" by using "updated", "slocate", "locate"
command.  Any advice shall be much appreciated.  Thanks in advance.
