Gnome-core-1.1.3 problem?

Hey all, I've updated to the latest core and applets.  I've recently
discovered problems with AbiWord displaying the menus (no text at all). 
I first re-installed the Abisuite RPM but found it to crash without
explanation.  I then compiled the source and installed to find the menu
text problem.  I'm not sure if it's Gnome related but I thought I'd ask.
