I am having a problem with gnome. I am using mandrake 7.2 and the gnome
version that comes with that distro. When I log in through gdm I get an
error message that states "could not look up internet address h24...(my IP).
This will prvent gnome from operating correctly...". The dialog box then
states " Try adding h24...(my ip) to file /etc/hosts". Where is gnome
finding this hostname and can I make it stop and use the one I want it to?
