helix-update doesn't seem to use usermode on RH 7.0

Hi, On RH 6.2 clicking on the helix-update icon would ask for the root
password and proceed to work as usual. On RH 7.0 this doesn't seem to
occur, instead I get a message that I need to be root to run
helix-update. I have the usermode package installed and /sbin and
/usr/sbin in my path

Does anybody else see similar behaviour ?
