        That entry was from June, 1999. The --disablerootwarning
appears seems to have been removed with less fanfare.

$ gmc --disablerootwarning
Error on option --disablerootwarning: unknown option.
Run 'gmc --help' to see a full list of available command line options.

$ gmc --version
Gnome gmc 4.5.50

        I can't find it in the mc v. 4.5.51 source, either.
