Re: Freature suggestion for gnome 2.0

I argee with almost all, maybe all, that Telsa Gwynne said.

I disagree with what Guillermo S. Romero said "The idea of
ordering menus by task was great, and should never change, ..."
If he means that menu's should not be changable, then I
disagree. I trust that is not what he means. Using both Sun
and HP CDE has convinced me that menu order must be customizable.

The FSF's Info system was/is great for finding what programs
and modules do, what the cli statements can be and so on.

Maybe menu's need to be sort of dual purpose, a way to run
and also a way to access the docs.

Another thought is that the "apropos" command has always been
a great way to access man pages about unknown commands; ...when
it is installed correctly. Can/Does the DocBook system have an
apropos feature?

What about the ancient ideas of a permutated index or a concordance
on the entire library of docbooks?

I also like someone's idea that "-v" would list the module
from which a command is obtained.
