This sounds just like Finale(tm), the absolute best and most expensive
music typesetting software. I use it all the time. :)

This is a big relief. For now, I'll focus on the canvas, and just
trust that down the road I'll have my choice of built-in canvas
printing functionality vs. fine-tuned typography via gnome-print...
