Do you have a sufficiently new gnome-print installed? Is it installed
correctly? Look at the /usr/share/fonts/fontmap file to see if it holds
any font information (it is an XML file, and should have one font listed
per line). If it doesn't, you may have to reinstall gnome-print. I have
sometimes had more luck installing it from source.
