gtkmm-1.0.3-1 is broken too

I found that gtkmm-1.0.3-1 sets the wrong links to the following libraries
when upgrading from a SUSE 6.2 distribution:
libart_lgpl.so
libgnome.so
libgnomeui.so
libgnorba.so
libzvt.so

gtk-1.2.6-1.i386.rpm shows the same behaviour.

It seems that as a unix newbie (which I am not) you can completely
screw-up your system when you download the rpms from ftp.gnome.org and
just follow the upgrade instructions. I find this kinda shocking.
