Sawmill help please

I tried to compile sawmill 0.14.2 but get an error like
(using a heavy modified Redhat 5.0 with glibc and egcs)
repdoc cannot open libxsdbm.so? What is libxsdbm?
Please help I have tried search on freshmeat/linux.com and others
with no result :-/
