Cordinated Gnome Workshop release.

Hi all,

With the October Gnome release out of the door, shouldnt a Gnome Workshop
with all its components be released ?

Or are much of the Gnome Workshop programs depending on features that are
still only in CVS ?
Or are the components being to buggy ?(i dont think so)

I have the feeling that a nice release with:

Gnumeric
ABIword (or whatever Wordprocessor it will be)
DIA
GILL
Guppi
Genius
EE (or EOG or GQview)
Gimp ???
Gyve
etc.

would be a nice thing !

Is this possible yet ?

Also, is it possible to release a "development version" of the current CVS
tree ?
Is this against all current policys ?

It would be very nice to be able to download for example a bunch of rpm's or
debs of the above...

This would also open the eyes for people that doesent think that Gnome has
evolved much (other than stabilty) since the 1.0 release in April.

The CVS version is very nice and have some small simple things that makes it
nicer to use (like tear of menus, resizeble panel etc) wich i had hoped to
be a part of the October release.

I hope that im not stepping on anyones toes here :)

Regards
Daniel Persson
