i also would like to be able to make a vertical list of tasks in a horizontal
tasklist (so that the auto-hide feature makes it slide towards the top of the
screen - that way i can put it in the top corner of the screen in a panel of
it's own, and when i move my mouse cursor up there, it slides down - maybe i
just like macos to much...)

i can do this with the pager now, but the the tasklist refuses to resize it's
height dynamically, an doessn't seem to believe me when i tell it i only want
ONE column of tasks...
