strange panel problems

Hi!

I´ve downloaded the new RPMs for SuSE 6.0 
The installation was successful, but when I tried to start the panel I
get a segmention fault(if I was a normal user; only root could start
it.)
Now I have a new problem:
Last time I started gnome my Linux-Box hang Up.
The wmmon - App shows that it uses 64MB RAM 128MB Swap and 100%CPU
Can anyone help me
