enlightenment & gmc: fighting over mouse menus

Using the latest  CVS pulls, I end up with both
enlightenment and gmc (I think) displaying
menus on the root window when I press the
the 3rd mouse button (far right).

How do I change it so that

1) enlightenment not to pop up a menu
2) tell gmc not to pop up a menu

Thanks for any help.

PS. I think this menu stuff needs to be added to either the FAQ
or the the gnome users guide.
