I'm running the default GNOME installation which comes with Redhat 6.0
with enlightenement as the windowmanager. I've disabled the screen
background selection for GNOME so that I can use enlightenment's
background selection. I then try to use the enlightenment Configuration
editor (Backgrounds selection window) to set background images.
However, when I press the menu to change the desktop for which I am
selecting the background (I expect at least 4 choices), I don't get a
menu of different desktop choices. the same entry (desk 0) is always
displayed.
What am I missing? Is there another GNOME option which must be disabled
before the enlightenment background selection will work? I've installed
RH 6.0 on a homebuilt computer and laptop and the behavior is the same
on both.
