runlevels

Hi,
Sorry if off-topic, but this maybe due to gnome, I don't know.
When I boot my machine, it brings up a graphical login screen. I have set
the runlevel to 3 in /etc/inittab (see below). Can anyone see why runlevel
5 is therefore being invoked all the time??? RH6
