There is an easy way to find other players.  I have written a
meta-server which works the same way as the FreeCiv meta-server.  When
you start the client, it pops up a Connect dialog.  From this dialog
you can press the 'Meta Server' button.  This will bring up a list of
all Gnocatan servers that are currently running (and have registered
with the meta server).  This is probably not much use at the moment as
there are not many people running the game.

Instructions are something that I agree I have to write :-) Maybe that
should be the next thing that I do.
