GDM Screenshots suggest that gtk themes are supported under GDM, but since
the documentation for GDM currently sucks (but at least he have some good
info on basic gdm.conf configuration) you just have to stumble over a
solution by accident.  Mr. Mike and others are suppose to be working 
on GDM (see: http://www.labs.redhat.com, rumor update for today) 
specifically, so this may mean some way kool advances in the app soon!
