Thanks for the advice, I followed your advice and installed the mentioned
packages (they were on my cdrom: gsl-0.3b-4, umb-scheme-3.2-7, guile-1.2-6,
and xscreensaver-2.34-1). Hoewever, the error remains, exactly the same
messages are reported by redhat .
What to do?
