It doesn't look like you got *all* of the files that you need... ;-)
The instructions list these packages seperately: gsl-0.3b-4,
umb-scheme-3.2-7, guile-1.2-6, and xscreensaver-2.34-1. See the "guile"
package ? Yes, they aren't in the main list of gnome-req'd packages... kind
of a pre-requisite!
You should be able to get RPM versions of these from RedHat or one of it's
mirrors (try your CD also -- if you have one).
