gmc and session management

If I'm running gmc without a window open (i.e. only the desktop icons), gmc doesn't come back up if I log out and log back in.  It isn't being saved in my ~/.gnome/session file.

Also, under enlightenment, gmc's right-click menus don't come up on desktops other than the root desktop.
