Control-Center compilation probs

Hi all,

as some of you would have read in the post kindly forwarded by Miguel, I
have been having some problems compiling the Control Center. I have been
faced with this error for some time, with a number of different esound
and control center releases. The build error below is from a snap
released a few days ago. Esound is currently 0.2.8-2 I think. Any ideas
would be very much appreciated.

Oh, I agree (in the most friendly terms :o)  )with the suggestion that
the non-posting ability by users logged on as root should be a little
more publicised. I usually have my own SMTP running, which worked fine.
Then I upgraded to RH5.2 and haven't found the time to get it up and
running again.
