gnome-session problem?

Hi, all

I have a question on the behaviour of gnome-sesson: it is great that it
can remember and startup my previous running applications, but it failed
to remember on which "virtual desktop" I started it, all of them clutter
on the same (first) page. Is this the default behavior or I miss
something in configuration?

platform info: RH 5.1, gnome-1.0
