font sizes in balsa

I am running balsa on a Dell Inspiron 7000 laptop.  The fonts in the
menu seem large and in the window which shows the mailboxes, the names
of longer folders get cut off. There is no font configure option for
balsa. Is there a compilation option which sets the font sizes?
