I noticed. But XFree86 is one of the members, and they'll let anyone
willing to work on X join them. Kind of an indirect way of doing
it. Perhaps we need a Gnome/KDE representative in X.org to deal with
such things, but that sounds like a full-time job. This can't be the
only area were we've found the current X protocol/libraries lacking.
