Gnome-libs make maintainer-clean errors

While running make maintainer-clean on today's CVS, the following
error occured:

make[1]: Leaving directory `/usr/src/cvs/gnome/gnome-libs/macros'
Making maintainer-clean in support
make[1]: Entering directory `/usr/src/cvs/gnome/gnome-libs/support'
gawk -f ./gnomesupport.awk < ../config.h > gsh-t
/bin/sh: ../config.h: No such file or directory
make[1]: *** [gnomesupport.h] Error 1
make[1]: Leaving directory `/usr/src/cvs/gnome/gnome-libs/support'
make: *** [maintainer-clean-recursive] Error 1
