  You're running Slackware ? If so look and see if you have 'openwin'
installed, if you do you probably have a '/usr/openwin/bin/xgettext'
as well as the 'xgettext' installed by GNU gettext. I just renamed
'/usr/openwin/xgettext' to something else to get it out of the way,
also did the same with '/usr/openwin/bin/msgfmt' (it's also in gettext).
